Ilboru Safari Lodge -Arusha : Ilboru safari lodge is considered to be a mid range accommodation situated on the lower slopes of Mt.Meru between the northern Safari circuit and Mt .Kilimanjaro in Tanzania region. The lodge is set outside Arusha Town beneath ancient trees, 10 minutes’ drive from Arusha Golf Course, Arusha Stadium and Arusha declaration Museum. Its 11km from Arusha International Airport (gateway destination to Tanzania) to the lodge and approximately 25 minutes journey by Taxi and 44 km from Mt. Kilimanjaro International Airport . Ilboru safari lodge is convenient and business friendly to guests who want to explore Arusha with its beautiful views of Mt Kilimanjaro and swahilie sanctuary that is standing on five acres of landscape .
Ilboru safari lodge consist of 48 comfortable and elegant rooms overlooking the gardens that reflects the traditional building style with modern comfort. Rooms can accommodate different guests, single, doubles, twin, triple and family rooms. Four of the rooms are in the main building with the view of the pool and other double cottages are in the lushy landscaped grounds.
They are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of Clean flushing toilets, hot and cold showers with Bathtubs , mosquito nets, chairs and tables , Air conditioning , Flat screen TVs , extinguishers , private balconies ,rooftop terraces and sitting areas ,you relax while enjoying the spectacular view of mount Kilimanjaro , Mount Meru and surrounded lush garden .
Rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds with washed clean beddings and ceiling fans. There are bonfires in the rooms where guests relax after safari experience not only that it also provides warmth to visitors during cold days. Room cost 200$ per night and above BUT the rate is not constant , it keeps changing especially during High season the rate goes slightly high than in Low season.
Ilboru safari lodge offers more services and facilities which include; A restaurant with additional poolside menu of light bites that serves different fresh meal types from surrounding farm both international and local meals that meets guests choice ; breakfast in the gardens ,lunch and dinner in the dining room(IN AND OUTDOOR DINNER) served by well trained, Welcoming and organized staff .
