TANDALA TENTED CAMP –RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
Tandala tented camp is a mid –range accommodation situated outside Ruaha National park and 5km from the Park Main gate in southern Tanzania . The camp is set alongside the road in the mature acacia woodland in Tungamarenga Tanzania. The lodge is named after the majestic antelopes, the Kudu that surround the areas. . The best way to travel to Ruaha national park from ARUSHA CITY is a flight that takes 5-6 hours to the close Msembe airstrip then 20 minutes to be transferred to the camp It’s very far by road taking about 941 km.
Tandala tented camp consists of 10 spacious and comfortable tents offering single beds for individuals, double or twin beds and family rooming options with the view of the park built in African Traditional style with natural materials of Grass thatched roofs, local woods with high levels of comfort. Tents are well elevated on a raised wooden platform , decorated with timber and furnished with tranquility and en suite private facilities of flushing toilet , hot and cold showers, mosquito nets , wooden chairs and tables , free bottled water in the rooms , free toiletries had wash basin , white curtains to mention but few .
Each tent has a large Veranda out of the front, with a large Interior sitting areas and private balconies that give a stunning view of the park and wildlife roaming around the camp. Tents are well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized beds and wooden ceiling fans. There is a fire place pit with comfortable seats where guests relax especially after a Tanzania safari as they share stories ,it also provides warmth during chill weather .Rooms are in different sizes with singles bed as mentioned above with different costs ranging from 200$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season

A restaurant in the main building with the view of the park serving different cuisines both international and African- inspired meals that meets guests choice. Meals offered include Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner in the main building served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff, you can have meals in any place of your choice either veranda overlooking the river or in the dining areas. Bush breakfast is also offered while enjoying morning sunrises and bush dinners while overlooking the stars in the sky.
A blue water swimming pool that cools off the hot ruaha afternoon with a poolside chairs and beds to relax on as you enjoy the sundowner while overlooking the landscape surrounding the areas
A-well stocked bar with variety of refreshment both alcoholic and nonalcoholic overlooking the spectacular view of the park and surrounding area.

Ruaha national park is the second largest national park in Tanzania after Nyerere national park found in the south of the central mid- point of Tanzania and west of Iringa Town .
The park was established in 1964 and It covers the total area of 20,226 square kilometers (7,809 ) square miles The Park is most visited and has different categories of accommodations that include Budget, Mid- range/ moderate and Luxury/expensive accommodations that are convenient and affordable to any travellers, tourists visiting the park.
