KIJERESHI TENTED CAMP – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Kijereshi tented camp is a small budget accommodations found on the border of western corridor of the famous Serengeti national park in Tanzania. The camp is situated 25km from Serengeti Ndabaka gate and 18km from Mwansa –musoma highway overlooking the lush green plains of the western corridor with wide range of wildlife and bird species. The camp is affordable and popular for independent travelers/tourists and those travelling in group since it offers spectacular views. It takes approximately 330km {6 hours } drive from Arusha town to the park and an hours to fly from Arusha to grumeti airstrip then 13km to be transferred from the airstrip.
Kijereshi tented camp is comprised of 17 spacious and comfortable en-suite tents of which 5 are en-suite tents , 1 exclusive luxury tent and 11 bungalows that includes 4 triple rooms , 4 family units and 3 VIP rooms reflecting traditional African art of stylish interiors with a modern comfort. Tents are well decorated , raised and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets , hot and cold showers, mosquito nets , chairs and tables, free toiletries and other facilities. All tents have verandas and sitting area, you relax while overlooking the spectacular view of Serengeti plains, wild beasts and surrounding area. Tents have excellent clean and washed beddings with queen sized beds. The camp has fireplaces where fire glows that provides warmth during cold evening, lose to the fire and share stories/experiences about the safari.

A restaurant that serves different meals both continental and local meals that meets guests appetite; you can have meals at the venue of your choice either in the garden or restaurant. They offer buffet breakfast, Picnic lunch and dinners (bush barbecue diners) served by friendly, organized and skilled staff.
A well -stocked bars that offers both soft and hard drinks like( beers, sodas, wines ,water ) with a shared lounge that has comfortable sits where guests sit /relax while sipping cocktail/drink of their choices as they enjoy different stories and experience and overlooking the spectacular views of the endless Serengeti plains , wildlife beast roaming around the camp since its not fenced and surrounding areas.

Serengeti national park is situated in Tanzania extending southern part of Kenya / that’s the Serengeti and Mara ecosystem in simiyu region . The park is among the popular and famous parks in Tanzania covering 5700 square miles stretching North to Kenya and bordering lake Victoria to the west. June – October are the best periods to be in Serengeti national park since its dry season , it offers best wildlife viewing when wild beast are moving seeking for pasture and water. It’s annually migration of wild beasts. The park contains over 70 big mammals like Buffaloes , elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, Impalas , Girraffes , antelopes mention but a few and 500 species of birds like; Flamingos , ostriches , grey breasted spurfowl, Kori bustard, secretary birds and many more which enables more tourists to visit the park and stay for along time.. its 60$ to enter the park.
