3 days Bwindi gorilla trekking safari is a gorilla trekking experience which will start in Entebbe or Kampala and you will visit Bwindi impenetrable forest national park for an experience of seeing gorillas in the wild.
The safari will take place in the south western part of Tanzania and the gorilla trek will take place in the Buhoma sector of Bwindi national park in Uganda.
Day 1; pick up and drive to Bwindi national park
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and welcome you for your safari. You will also have a short briefing about the safari and after the briefing and introductions you will start your journey to Bwindi national park.
You will have a stop at the equator where you will take photos and also enjoy seeing local crafts. You will also have a stop in Mbarara for lunch and after lunch your guide will take you to your lodge for check in and also dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma haven lodge.
Day 2; gorilla trekking
After having breakfast early at the lodge, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters in Bwindi national park for briefing about the gorilla trekking activity. After being briefed, you will be divided into groups and trek into the Bwindi impenetrable forest where you will look for the gorillas in their natural habitat.
When you find the gorillas you will spend about 1 hour with them before returning to the briefing point where your guide will be waiting to drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma haven lodge.
Day 3; drive to Kampala
On the 3rd day of your 3 days Bwindi gorilla trekking safari , Your breakfast will be served at your lodge ahead of your drive from Bwindi national park to Kampala. You will have your lunch enroute and your guide will take you to the airport or your hotel in Entebbe which will bring the safari to an end.
