Thorn tree Tented Camp is a mid-range accommodation (3 stars) found in central Serengeti national park, Seronera areas in Tanzania. The camp is situated 15 minutes drive from seronera airstrip and close to visitor’s center in the seronera valley. The camp is convenient and business-friendly to guests who want to explore Serengeti national park with the view of the beautiful landscape and surrounding areas. One can be at the camp from arusha city taking approximately 330km {6 hours } drive to the park and 2 hours to fly from Arusha to seronera airstrip then 15 minutes to drive to the camp.
Thorn tree tented camp is comprised of 15 classic en-suite tents with interconnecting family suite that reflects traditional African art of stylish interiors with a modern comfort. Rooms are well decorated, elevated with wooden raised platform and furnished with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets , hot and cold showers, flat screen TV, minibars, wrapped mosquito nets and other facilities. Rooms have verandas, sitting area and balconies , you relax while overlooking the spectacular view of Serengeti plains, wild life visiting the camp and surrounding area. Rooms have excellent clean and washed beddings with queen sized beds. They are in different categories and sizes ; single ,double ,twins and family rooms. The camp offers nighty campfires that provides warmth to the guests during nights. The cost of the room ranges from 200$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season
