SHU’MATA CAMP – KILIMANJARO
Shu’mata camp is referred to as a mid- range accommodation situated in longido on the foot hills of Mount Kilimanjaro ( the tallest mountain in Africa) in the Masaai land areas and south of amboseli in the northern Tanzania. The camp is in the perfect location for every traveller, tourists and holiday makers who want to enjoy the magnificent views of Mt Kilimanjaro and surrounding areas. One can be at the hotel by either road transport from Arusha city which takes approximately 2-3 hours’ drive to Kilimanjaro Mountain in Tanzania and 45 minutes to fly from Arusha to close airstrip Kilimanjaro international airport. The camp is situated 12 miles from Arusha airport, 26 moles from Kilimanjaro international airport and 55 miles from Amboseli airport.
Shu’mata camp consists of 5 beautiful and confortable tents with the view of the mountains which reflects modern building style with modern comfort . Tents are well decorated and furnished with private en-suite facilities with flushing toilets, bathroom with cold and hot showers, free toiletries, free complementary water, pillows and duvets , chairs and tables sofa seats, to mention but a few .
Tents have terraces and large sitting area overlooking the great views of Mount Kilimanjaro and surrounding areas. Tents are well equipped with comfortable king and queen sized beds with clean and washed beddings. There are that provides warmth to visitors at night. Tents are configured with single beds for individuals ,double beds and triple rooms with different cost ranging from 200$ per night and above ( note that high season rate is different to low season rate.)

A dining area in a big tent with a lounge overlooking the Mountain that serves delicious type of Menu both international and African meals that matches with guest’s appetite. Meals include; breakfast, lunch and 3 course dinners in the dining room served by well trained, friendly and organized staff. Bush breakfast are also served while enjoying the morning sunrises and stunning views of Mt, Kilimanjaro and bush breakfast overlooking the stars in the sky.

Mount Kilimanjaro is considered to be the tallest mount in Africa and Mosh i is the municipality and capital city of Kilimanjaro region in the north eastern part of Tanzania. The summit of Kilimanjaro is around 5,895 metres above sea level, which makes it the largest in Africa but way behind the Mount Everest which has a peak of around 8,848 metres.
