Serengeti Sametu Camp
Serengeti Sametu Camp is a mid-range accommodation( 3.5 star) found in the east-central part of Serengeti national park Tanzania. It is a permanent camp situated in the rural areas and closes to the banks of Ngarenyuki and kopjes in central Serengeti. The camp is convenient and in a perfect position for guests who want to explore the park with its stunning views over the savannah , wildebeest especially zebras and surrounding areas. It take approximately 6hours drive from arusha town to Serengeti national park and 1-2 hours to fly from arusha to seronera close airstrip then 30 minutes drive from the airstrip to the camp. The camp is under Karibu camps and lodges that offers Unique and best accommodations in different parts of Tanzania.
Serengeti sametu camp consists of 18 comfortable appointed and spacious tented rooms of which 8 are spacious tents, 8 are luxury suites and 2 family suites that reflect traditional building style with modern Comfort . Tents are well decorated , elevated with raised platform and furnished with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets , hot and cold separate showers via solar heating , vanity basin , flat screen TV, minibars, solar energy available, mosquito nets, indoor lounge chairs and other facilities . Tents have verandas, sitting area and Private balconies, you relax while overlooking the spectacular view of Moru kopjes , Serengeti savannah plains, wild beasts that visits the lodge and surrounding area. Tents have excellent clean and washed beddings with queen sized beds. They are in different categories and sizes depending single , double , twins and family rooms. The camp has Cracking fireplaces that provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days. Cost of the rooms at the camp ranges from 200$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.
