SANCTUARY NGORONGORO CRATER CAMP- NGORONGORO CRATER
Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater camp is a luxury – accommodation (4-star) found in the rim Valley of Ngorongoro Crater with in Ngorongoro Conservation area in Tanzania region. The camp is situated close to the access road that leads to the crater floor. Ngorongoro crater is the home of variety of animals like zebra, elephant, buffaloes, warthogs, wildebeests and amazing population of predator, lions, hyenas, cheater and many more which gives endless opportunity to guests to see different animals and sweeping views. You can be at the lodge by either road transport from Arusha city taking approximately 2 -3 hours to the Ngorongoro crater then 40 minutes to fly to the close Manyara airstrip then few minutes to the camp. The camp is under Sanctuary lodges that runs and manages different properties in different parts of the world.
Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater camp contains 10 classic safari tents each with its en-suite bathroom that reflects local architectural building style with modern comfort. Tents are well elevated with raised platform , decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, hot and cold showers , mosquito nets, wooden chair , free toiletries , complementary bottled water , washing basins etc. Tents have verandas and sitting areas , you enjoy the stunning view over Ngorongoro crater and surrounding area . There are cracking fireplaces at the camp where guests relax and share experiences about the safaris and it also provides warmth to visitors in the nights. Rooms are configured as single ,double ,twin and triple/family rooms as mention above costing 300$ per night and above depending on seasons, sometimes rate goes slightly high during peak/ high season than in Low season.

Ngorongoro crater is found in the Northern part of Tanzania close to Ngorongoro conservation area in the great rift valley covering the total area of 8,292km and its 3 million years old . The crater is the best place in East Africa with beautiful breathtaking Views. There are different attractions in the park which include; wild beast migration from Serengeti , Ngorongoro crater , Salei Plains and Ol karien Gorge, Variety flora and Fauna, stunning scenery and many more attractions. The park has different categories of accommodation like; Budget , Mid range and luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to guests visiting the area. The park contain short grasses with more high lands and other beautiful volcanoes. The area have over 25,000 large animals including 26 black rhinoceros and over 100 number of lions, 7,000 wild beasts, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles .
The park has different animal including the big five mammals of the world ; lion ,Buffaloes, elephant, leopards ,Rhinos ,zebras , implalas, antelopes and different bird species.
