OLMARA CAMP – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Olmara camp is referred to as a mid- range accommodation (3 star) situated in the remote and wild-filled region called soit le motonyi that is “well known for Predator activity “ in the eastern plain of the wonderful Serengeti national park Tanzania. It take approximately 6 -7 hours drive from Arusha town to Serengeti national park and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to Seronera close airstrip then an hour drive from the airstrip to the camp. The camp is convenient and business friendly to tourists, travellers and holiday makers who want to discover and see wide range of animals, wilderness and surrounding areas.
Olmara camp consists of 8 comfortable and spacious canvas tents with the view of the wilderness that reflect traditional building style and two of the tents are designed with star dome and open roofs with comfort proximity. Tents are well elevated with raised platform decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, hot and cold showers via solar heating, vanity basin, white curtains, mosquito nets, indoor lounge chairs and other facilities. Tents have verandas, sitting area and balconies, you relax while overlooking the spectacular view of Serengeti savannah plains, wild beasts roaming around the camp and surrounding area. Tents have excellent clean and washed beddings with queen sized beds. The camp offers single beds for individual guests, double /twins and family rooming options. The camp has campfire pit where fire glows with comfortable chairs guests relax and share experiences about the Wildlife safari Tanzania , it also provides warmth to the guests during chill weather. Room at the camp ranges from 200$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.

A restaurant in main lounge area that serves different meals both continental and local meals to meet guest’s appetite; Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner. they also serve out and indoors dinner options and bush barbecue diners.
A well-stocked bar with both soft and hard drinks like beers, sodas, wines ,water ,Its in the main lounge areas with a living room that has comfortable seats to relax and sip the sundowner cocktail while enjoying the spectacular views of endless Serengeti plains , wildlife beast visiting the camp and other surrounding areas, During evening u relax on terraces while overlooking Serengeti sunset.

Serengeti national park is situated in Tanzania extending southern part of Kenya / that’s the Serengeti and Mara ecosystem in simiyu region . The park is among the popular and famous parks in Tanzania covering 5700 square miles stretching North to Kenya and bordering lake Victoria to the west. June – October are the best periods to be in Serengeti national park since its dry season , it offers best wildlife viewing when wild beast are moving seeking for pasture and water. It’s annually migration of wild beasts. The park contains over 70 big mammals like Buffaloes , elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, Impalas , Giraffes , antelopes mention but a few and 500 species of birds like; Flamingos , ostriches , grey breasted spur fowl, Kori bustard, secretary birds and many more which enables more tourists to visit the park and stay for along time.
