OLAKIRA MIGRATION CAMP-SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Olakira migration camp are luxury accommodation (4 star) found in two spectacular location, One is in the North witnessing the cross of Mara River and the second in south of Serengeti national park, ndutu areas, Tanzania. The camp follows the wildebeest migration that offers super game viewing which gives guests a chance to see more herds of animals like elephant, buffaloes, zebra etc. One can be at the camp taking approximately 6 hours drive from arusha town to Serengeti national park and 1-2 hours to fly from arusha to the close kogatende airstrip in the north then 40 minutes to be transferred to the camp and in south its ndutu airstrip then 20 minutes to drive to the camp.
Olakira Migration camp consists of 7 en suite luxury bush tents of which one room is a family room with 2 bedroom suites overlooking the sweeping Serengeti plain reflecting traditional building style with modern Comfort . Tents are well decorated, elevated with raised platform and furnished with en-suite facilities like Clean flushing toilet, hot and cold safari bucket shower , flat screen TV, minibars , solar energy available, mosquito nets, tables and chairs and other facilities .Tents have verandas, sitting area and terraces ,you relax while overlooking the spectacular view over the wildebeest migrating, Serengeti plains and surrounding areas .
Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with queen and king sized beds. Tents varies in different categories and sizes depending on single, double, twins and family tent as mention above. The camp has Cracking fireplaces where you can relax and share stories and experience of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days. Cost of the rooms at the camp ranges from 300$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.
Olakira migration Camp offers different services and facilities which include ; A restaurant in the main building that serves different meals both continental and local cuisine that meets guests appetite ; Continental breakfast , picnic lunch and separate dining areas, they also serve out and indoors dinner options and bush barbecue diners.
A well- stocked bar with shared lounge on both camp with good selection of both soft and hard refreshments like beers, sodas, wines ,water , you relax in Terraces and sip the cocktail while enjoying the spectacular views over the endless Serengeti plains, wildlife beast migration and surrounding areas, During evening u relax on terraces/sundowners while overlooking Serengeti sunset from distant hills , camp offers a laundry services, Airport transfers and pickups since the camp is close to the airstrips,

Serengeti national park is situated in Tanzania extending southern part of Kenya / that’s the Serengeti and Mara ecosystem in simiyu region . The park is among the popular and famous parks in Tanzania covering 5700 square miles stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. June – October are the best periods to be in Serengeti national park since its dry season , it offers best wildlife viewing when wild beast are moving seeking for pasture and water. It’s annually migration of wild beasts.The park contains over 70 big mammals like Buffaloes , elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, Impalas , Giraffes , antelopes mention but a few and 500 species of birds like; Flamingos , ostriches , grey breasted spur fowl, Kori bustard, secretary birds and many more which enables more tourists to visit the park and stay for along time. its 60$ to enter the park.
