NYIKANI CAMP CENTRAL SERENGETI – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Nyikani camp central Serengeti is a permanent mid -range accommodation (3.5 star)found in the wildlife rural areas in central Serengeti national park (the home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on the planet Earth) in the Northern Tanzania. The camp is situated on a small Banagi hill surrounded by the endless savannah Serengeti plains, 14km from Serengeti visitors’ center and 15km from seronera Airstrip. The camp is owned and managed by Nyikani camps and lodges that run different and best properties across Tanzania. One can be at the camp taking approximately 8 hours’ drive from Arusha town to Serengeti national park and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to the close seronera airstrip then 14km to be transferred to the camp. The camp is located close to the great migration route which gives guests a chance to see variety of wildlife and the endless savannah Serengeti plains.
Nyikani camp central Serengeti of 12 spacious normal guest tents with 1 family tent containing 2 en suite bathrooms with the breathtaking view of the hill reflecting traditional building style with comfortable proximity. Each Tents is built on a raised wooden platform with its own separate bucket showers, clean flushing toilets , candles ,solar energy available, double washing basins with running water , mosquito nets, curtains , wooden tables and chairs , tea coffee making facilities and other facilities .Tents have private ,shaded verandas, sitting area , you relax while enjoying the morning sunset and overlooking the spectacular view over the Serengeti ecosystem and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with oversized queen and king sized beds. Tents are configured as single double, twins and family tent. The camp has Cracking fireplaces where guests relax and share stories and experience of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days. Room cost ranges from 250$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.

June – October are the best periods to be in Serengeti national park since its dry season , it offers best wildlife viewing when wild beast are moving seeking for pasture and water.
