Lemala ngorongoro tented camp is a luxury accommodation (4 star)owned and managed by lemala authentic camps and lodges that run ambient accommodation across Tanzania. The camp is found in the quiet ancient acacia forest close to the rim of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater Tanzania region. The camp is set in a green garden lush landscape and local vegetation on the Eastern side of Ngorongoro crater in Ngorongoro conservation area. The camp is convenient and in the perfect position for tourists, business travellers who want to explore and discover the natural beauty of three parks in Tanzania; Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Tarangire national park with its incredible views of the Rim , forest-vegetation and surrounding areas. You can be at the camp by road from Arusha town in about 3-4 hour’s drive, then an hour to fly from Arusha to the close Manyara airstrip and 75 minutes’ drive to the camp.
Lemala Ngorongoro tented camp consists of 9 spacious and comfortable tents with the infinity views of the forest and surrounding areas reflecting African traditional building style. The Mess tent is well decorated and furnished with grand sofas, book shelves and lamps. All tents have private en-suite facilities of Flushing toilets, hot safari style showers, hot water bottles, gas heaters, hand basins, wrapped mosquito nets, free toiletries, chairs, warm winter weight duvets etc. Each Tent has verandas and sitting areas that give a stunning view over forest –vegetation, rim crater and surrounding areas.
Tents are well equipped with excellent and comfortable queen sized beds with clean and washed beddings. There are cracking fireplace at the camp with comfortable chairs where fire glows, guests relax and share stories about the Tanzania Safaris, and it also provides warmth to visitors in the nights and during cold days. The camp offers single bed ,double bed ,twin and triple/family rooming options with different cost ranging from 300$ per night and above sometimes rate goes slightly high during peak/ high season than in Low season

Ngorongoro crater is found in the Northern part of Tanzania close to Ngorongoro conservation area in the great rift valley covering the total area of 8,292km and its 3 million years old . The crater is the best place in East Africa with beautiful breathtaking Views. There are different attractions in the park which include; wild beast migration from Serengeti , Ngorongoro crater, Salei Plains and Ol karien Gorge, Variety flora and Fauna, stunning scenery and many more attractions. The park contains short grasses with more high lands and other beautiful volcanoes.
The area have over 25,000 large animals including 26 black rhinoceros and over 100 number of lions, 7,000 wild beasts, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles . The park has different animal including the big five mammals of the world ; lion ,Buffaloes, elephant, leopards ,Rhinos , zebras, implalas , antelopes and different bird species.
