LEMAI SERENGETI LODGE- SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Lemai Serengeti lodge is a permanent mid- range accommodation siting on the rocky outcrop of the Wogakurya Kopjes in Northern Tanzania Region. The lodge is situated in a perfect position for the great wildbeest migration and close/ few miles to where wildebeest cross to the Mara River giving guests chance to witness animals coming to drink water at the river and sweeping Serengeti plains. One can be at the lodge by road transport from arusha city taking about 6 hours drive then 1-2 hours to fly from arusha to the close lemai airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the lodge. The lodge is under Nomad Tanzania that runs and manages different and best accommodation to different parts of Tanzania.
Lemai Serengeti camp consists of 8 spacious tent and comfortable tents with the breathtaking views of Serengeti savannah and its wildlife migration reflecting traditional local building style with local woods and grass thatched roofs. Each Tents has its own bathroom with bush showers and clean flushing toilets , candles ,solar energy available, hand washing basins, mosquito nets, large netted windows and wrapped roofing’s, white curtain , tables and chairs and other facilities .Tents have its own verandas, sitting area and wooden Balconies overlooking the spectacular view over the Serengeti plains, wildlife visiting the camp and surrounding areas . Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with oversized queen and king sized beds. Tents are configured as single double, twins and family tent. The camp has Cracking fireplaces where guests relax and share stories and experience of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days. Room cost ranges from 300$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.
Lemai Serengeti Camp offers different services and facilities which include ; On-site restaurant in the main building that serves different mouthwatering 3 course meal both continental and local cuisine that meets guests appetite ; Buffet breakfast in the bush/ on the rock deck , picnic lunch and dinner , they also serve out and indoors dinner options and bush barbecue diners,
