KUDU LODGE –KARATU – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
Kudu lodge is a mid- range accommodation found in Karatu in the heart of Northern in Tanzania between lake Manyara national park , Ngorongoro crater and lake eyasi. The lodge is set on eleven acres of landscape surrounded by mature trees, gardens, and the home of bird species and variety of flora and fauna. it takes approximately 3-4 hours drive on tarmac road from Arusha to the lodge through mayukuni and karatu and 50 minutes flight to the close Manyara airstrip since Both lake manyara and tarangire makes the best spotting point to break up the journey . The lodge is convenient and friendly to guests visiting Karatu with its great views of the forest, Ngorongoro crater and surrounding areas.
Kudu Lodge consist of 4 spacious and comfortable separate rooms that accommodates maximum of 60 people with its own private entrance and wooden deck area . The lodge are built in traditional African style with local woods well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, en suite bathroom with hot and cold showers , mosquito nets, comfortable tropical wooden beds with clean beddings, flat screen TVs , free toiletries , complementary bottled water etc, Rooms private wooden balconies, verandas and sitting areas overlooking the stunning view of Ngorongoro crater, forest and surrounding area . The lodge offers camping with tents for hire especially for camp lovers. They are cracking campfires where guests relax in the evenings / during chill whether as the share stories /experiences about the safaris. Rooms are in different categories and sizes with single beds, double /twin beds and triple/family rooms and rooms cost 200$ per night and above. Note that in High season the rate goes slightly high than in Low season.

Ngorongoro crater is found in the Northern part of Tanzania close to Ngorongoro conservation area in the great rift valley covering the total area of 8,292km and its 3 million years old . The crater is the best place in East Africa with beautiful breathtaking Views. There are different attractions in the park which include; wild beast migration from Serengeti , Ngorongoro crater , Salei Plains and Ol karien Gorge, Variety flora and Fauna, stunning scenery and many more attractions. The park has different categories of accommodation like; Budget , Mid range and luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to guests visiting the area. The park contain short grasses with more high lands and other beautiful volcanoes. The area have over 25,000 large animals including 26 black rhinoceros and over 100 number of lions, 7,000 wild beasts, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles . The park has different animal including the big five mammals of the world ; lion ,Buffaloes, elephant, leopards ,Rhinos , zebras, impalas , antelopes and different bird species. There are more masaai mara pastoralists in Ngorongoro park . its 80$ per person entering Ngorongoro park . June –july and late January and February are the best month to travel in Wildlife Safari in Tanzania especially Ngorongoro side.
