Kubu Kubu Tented Camp
Kubu Kubu Tented Camp is a mid-range accommodation found in central Serengeti national park in Tanzania near the seronera river. The lodge is located in an ideal super spotting place for wildlife migrating from Tanzania. The camp is set on the hillside with panoramic views of the Serengeti plains. One can be at camp by road from Arusha while from different international countries taking approximately 6 hours drive to Serengeti national park and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to close Seronera airstrip then 30 minutes drive from the airstrip to the lodge. The lodge is convenient and business-friendly to guests visiting the park with spectacular views of Serengeti plains masai kopjes and surrounding areas. The lodge is owned and run by Tarangire wilderness camps that operate abroad range and perfect accommodation in different parts of Tanzania.
Kubu kubu tented lodge consists of 25 comfortable appointed and spacious tents with a family tent that consists of 2 interconnecting tents that reflect traditional building style with natural materials, local woods and grass thatched roofs. Rooms are well decorated, furnished and elevated with raised platform with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets, hot and cold showers and outside showers. via solar heating , vanity basin , free bottled water , flat screen TV, minibars, mosquito nets, indoor lounge chairs and other facilities . Tents have verandas, sitting area and wooden balconies; you relax while overlooking the spectacular view of Serengeti savannah plains, wild beasts’ migration and surrounding area. Rooms have excellent clean and washed beddings with queen sized beds. Rooms varies depending on single , double, twins and family rooms. The lodge has fireplaces that provide warmth to the guests during nights. Cost of the rooms ranges from 300$ and above per night and rate always goes slightly higher in peak season.
