KIRURUMU NGORONGORO CAMP – NGORONGORO CONSERVATON AREA
Kirurumu Ngorongoro camp is a 3 star mid -range accommodation found in Ngorongoro crater Rim Valley close to the access road overlooking Ngorongoro highlands in Tanzania. The camp is owned and managed by one of the old East African safari company that run different properties across Tanzania. You can be at the lodge by either road transport from Arusha city taking approximately 3-4 hours drive to the Ngorongoro crater then 45 flight to the close Ndutu/ manyara airstrip. The lodge is convenient and in a perfect place for tourists/travellers who want to explore and discover the three national park; Ngorongoro crater, Lake manyara national park and Tarangire national with its spectacular views especially for crater Rim and surrounding areas to thrill while on Tanzania Safaris Tours.
Kirurumu Ngorongoro camp consist of 10 spacious and comfortable tented cottages with doubles /twins, family customized safari tents that reflects African building style. Tents are well elevated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, comfortable tropical wooden beds with clean beddings, free toiletries, free bottled water slipers, hand wash basins etc. Tents have private verandas and sitting areas overlooking the incredible views of the landscape and crater Rim .There is a campfire area with comfortable chairs where guests relax and share stories about the safari as they enjoy the wonderful views and the perfect place to watch the Sun set. Tents offers single beds for individuals ,double beds ,twin and family options as mention above with different cost ranging from 200$ per night and above sometimes rate goes slightly high during peak/ high season than in Low season.

Meals offered breakfast , lunch and dinner both in and outdoor dinners served by well trained, friendly and organized staff. Bush dinners are also offered while enjoying the stars in the sky .

Ngorongoro crater is found in the Northern part of Tanzania close to Ngorongoro conservation area in the great rift valley covering the total area of 8,292km and its 3 million years old . The crater is the best place in East Africa with beautiful breathtaking Views. There are different attractions in the park which include; wild beast migration from Serengeti , Ngorongoro crater , Salei Plains and Ol karien Gorge, Variety flora and Fauna, stunning scenery and many more attractions. The park has different categories of accommodation like; Budget , Mid range and luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to guests visiting the area. The park contain short grasses with more high lands and other beautiful volcanoes. The area have over 25,000 large animals including 26 black rhinoceros and over 100 number of lions, 7,000 wild beasts, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles .
The park has different animal including the big five mammals of the world ; lion ,Buffaloes, elephant, leopards ,Rhinos ,zebras , implalas , antelopes and different bird species. There are more different activities to do while in the Park which include ; Game viewing at crater and lake Eyasi view point to different animals migrating, Crater viewing , Cultural visits in the local village, Hiking the Gol Mountains in the remote areas of the park , Crater Rim Nature walks, Bird watching in the park, Visiting archaeological like oldivai gorge museum and many other activities . There are more masaai mara pastoralists in Ngorongoro park . its 80$ per person entering Ngorongoro park. June –july and late January and February are the best month to travel in Tanzania for a safari especially Ngorongoro side while on Tanzania Wildlife Safaris
