KIA LODGE- ARUSHA
Kia lodge is a mid range accommodation situated between the northern towns of Moshi and Arusha , 5minutes drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport( gateway destination to different parts in Tanzania) to and approximately 30 minutes journey by Tax in Tanzania. The lodge is found on top of the hill with the beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mt Meru and surrounding areas.
Kia lodge consist of 40 comfortable and elegant styled thatched brick cottages set in beautiful savannah gardens with the view of MT. Meru and Kilimanjaro that reflects the contemporary African traditional building style with grass thatched roof and bricks with modern comfort. Cottages can accommodate different guests, single, doubles, twin, triple and family rooms. Cottages are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of Clean flushing toilets, hot and cold showers with Bathtubs , mosquito nets, chairs and tables , Air conditioning , Flat screen TVs , extinguishers mention but a few. Rooms have private balconies, terraces and sitting areas, you relax while enjoying the spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro, MT Meru and surrounded lush garden. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds with washed clean beddings and ceiling fans. There are bonfires where fire glows with comfortable chairs; guests relax after Tanzania safari experience as they share stories not only that it also provides warmth to visitors during cold days. Room cost 200$ per night and above BUT the rate is not constant, it keeps changing especially during High season the rate goes slightly high than in Low season.
Kia lodge offers more services and facilities which include; A restaurant with additional poolside menu of light bites that serves different fresh 4 course meal continental , international and African inspired meals that meets guests choice ; breakfast in the bush, lunch fixed menu and dinner in the dining room(IN AND OUTDOOR DINNER) served by well trained, Welcoming and organized staff .
A well- stocked bar with a shared lounge with a view of the mount Kilimanjaro offering variety of good selection of drinks ; local ,cocktail, WHISKEYS, wines, spirits and international beers, you relax and sip the cocktail or monktail while overlooking the spectacular view of Mt Kilimanjaro , Mt Meru and surrounding area ,
