Genesis Motel is a small budget accommodation found in the small town of Mikumi, close to Genesis Snake Park and the worship place of the Mikumi community, 15 minutes from Mikumi National Park Tanzania. The motel is a convenient and better place to stay for relaxation and safari adventures for tourists and travelers visiting Mikumi National Park. The best way to travel to Mikumi National Park from Arusha City is by flight, and from Dar es Salaam, it takes 5–6 hours to the closest airstrip and then a few minutes to be transferred to the camp.
The Genesis Motel consists of 40 spacious and comfortable rooms overlooking the endless view of the town and surrounding landscape that reflect modern building style and modern comfort. Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities, including flushing toilets, bathrooms with hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, air conditioning, satellite television, comfortable beds with clean bedding, free toiletries, bathrobes, complimentary bottled water, white pillows and sheets, slippers, and many more. Mikumi National Park is one of the protected areas found in southern Tanzania. Being the fourth-largest country in the country, it is the most accessible Tanzania safari destination from Dar es Salaam and not far from the shores of the Indian Ocean. The park is situated south of the famous Selous Game Reserve near Morogoro in Tanzania, covering a total area of 3,230 hectares squared between Uluguulu Mountain on the north-east side and the Rubeho and Udzungwa Mountains on the south-western side. The park provides habitat for different wildlife that includes elephants, giraffes, buffalo, Burchell’s zebras, sables, the largest antelope family, eland, Liechtenstein’s hartebeest, lions, and leopards, among others.
