ASILI WILDERNESS CAMP
Asili wilderness camp is a luxury accommodation found in the central part of serengeti national park in Tanzania. The camp is 25km from the city center. The camp is convenient and located in an ideal place where you can watch most of the wildlife like ; lions, leopards, Cheeters and other wildebeests in their most natural of the environment. It take approximately 6 hours drive from Arusha town to Serengeti national park and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to Seronera close airstrip then 25 minutes drive from the airstrip to the camp.
Asili Wilderness camp consists of 8 comfortable appointed and spacious canvas that reflect traditional building style with modern Comfort . Tents are well decorated , elevated with raised platform and furnished with private suite facilities like flushing toilets , hot and cold separate showers via solar heating , vanity basin , flat screen TV, minibars, solar energy available, mosquito nets, indoor lounge chairs and other facilities . Tents have verandas, sitting area and Private balconies, you relax while overlooking the spectacular view over the wilderness, wild beasts that visits the camp and surrounding area.
Tents have excellent clean and washed beddings with queen sized beds. They are in different categories and sizes depending single , double , twins and family rooms. The camp has Cracking fireplaces that provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days. Cost of the rooms at the camp ranges from 300$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.
Asili wilderness camp offers different services and facilities which include .; A restaurant that serves different meals both continental and local meals that meets guests appetite ; Continental breakfast , picnic lunch and separate dining areas, they also serve out and indoors dinner options and bush barbecue diners, A well- stocked bar/lounge with both soft and hard drinks like beers, sodas, wines ,water etc , you relax and sip the sundowner cocktail while enjoying the spectacular views of endless Serengeti plains , wildlife beast visiting the camp, wilderness and other surrounding areas.

Serengeti national park is situated in Tanzania extending southern part of Kenya / that’s the Serengeti and Mara ecosystem in simiyu region . The park is among the popular and famous parks in Tanzania covering 5700 square miles stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. June – October are the best periods to be in Serengeti national park since its dry season , it offers best wildlife viewing when wild beast are moving seeking for pasture and water. It’s annually migration of wild beasts.
The park contains over 70 big mammals like Buffaloes , elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, Impalas , Giraffes , antelopes mention but a few and 500 species of birds like; Flamingos , ostriches , grey breasted spur fowl, Kori bustard, secretary birds and many more which enables more tourists to visit the park and stay for along time. its 60$ to enter the park.
