ANG’ATA NGORONGORO CAMP – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
Ang’ata ngorongoro camp is a 4-star luxury accommodation found in the North Eastern side of Ngorongoro craters rim, right after lemala gate inside the park boundaries and close to the crater lodge in Tanzania. The camp is surrounded by acacia forest. The word Ang’ata in masaai language means wilderness. The camp is owned and managed by Ang’ata camps that run the best luxury accommodation across Tanzania ( Ngorongoro , Serengeti and Tarangire national park ). The camp is convenient and business friendly to guests who want to explore the natural beauty of the park with the beautiful view of the crater rim, vegetation and surrounding areas. You can be at the camp by road from Arusha town in about 3-4 hour’s drive, then an hour to fly from Arusha to the close Manyara airstrip and 45 minutes’ drive to the camp.
Ang’ata Ngorongoro camp consists of 8 spacious and comfortable tents including a 2 family unit tents with the infinity views of the forest and surrounding areas reflecting African traditional building style. Each Tent has en-suite bathroom with showers, flushing toilets, vanity deck sofas, free bottled water, hand basins, wrapped mosquito nets, free toiletries, wooden chairs, warm winter weight duvets etc. Each Tent has verandas and sitting areas that give a stunning view over forest –vegetation, rim crater and surrounding areas. Tents are well equipped with excellent and comfortable queen and king sized beds with clean and washed beddings. There are cracking fireplace at the camp that is lit when the weather permits, There are also comfortable chairs where fire glows, guests relax and share stories about the safaris. The camp offers single bed ,double/twin bed and family rooming options as mention above with different cost ranging from 300$ per night and above sometimes rate goes slightly high during peak/ high season than in Low season

Ngorongoro crater is found in the Northern part of Tanzania close to Ngorongoro conservation area in the great rift valley covering the total area of 8,292km and its 3 million years old . The crater is the best place in East Africa with beautiful breathtaking Views. The area have over 25,000 large animals including 26 black rhinoceros and over 100 number of lions, 7,000 wild beasts, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles . The park has different animal including the big five mammals of the world ; lion ,Buffaloes, elephant, leopards ,Rhinos ,zebras , implalas , antelopes and different bird species .
