ACACIA CENTRAL CAMP –SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Acacia Central camp is a mid- range beautiful accommodation found in the central part of the famous Serengeti National Park, in the heart of Serengeti Seronera and 4 minutes walk from Seronera information center in Tanzania Region. The camp is convenient and situated underneath and acacia tree and offers spectacular views over Serengeti savannah plains and surrounding areas. The camp is owned and managed by Serengeti acacia camps that offer ambient accommodations in different parts of Tanzania. One can be at the camp by road transport from Arusha city center taking about 6-7 hours drive then 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to the close Seronera airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp while on your Tanzania Wildlife Safaris.
Acacia central camp consists of 10 spacious canvas tent with the breathtaking views of Serengeti savannah and reflecting traditional local building style and equipped with private bathrooms , clean flushing toilets , hot and cold showers ,solar energy available, hand washing basins, mosquito nets, large netted windows and wrapped roofing’s, white curtain , tables and chairs and other facilities .Tents have its own verandas, sitting area and wooden Balconies overlooking the spectacular view over the Serengeti plains, Acacia trees ,wildlife visiting the camp and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with oversized queen and king sized beds. The camp offers single, double, twins, family and suite tent options and those tents are connected by paved paths to the camps central lounge and eating place (dining area). The camp has Cracking fireplaces where guests relax and share stories and experience of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days. Room cost ranges from 300$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.
Acacia central Camp offers different services and facilities which include ; On-site restaurant in the main building that serves different mouthwatering 3 course meal both continental and local cuisine that meets guests appetite; Buffet breakfast in the bush/ on the rock deck , picnic lunch and dinner , they also serve out and indoors dinner options and bush barbecue diners, A well- stocked bar with shared lounge with good selection of both soft and hard refreshments like beers, sodas, wines ,water , you relax in verandas and sip the sundowner cocktail while enjoying the stunning views over the endless Serengeti plains, souring canopy of acacias and surrounding areas, During evening u relax on terraces enjoying the cool sundowners while overlooking Serengeti sunset , camp offers a laundry services, Airport transfers and pickups since the camp is close to the airstrips.
