9 days Tanzania wildlife safari is a game viewing safari which will start in Arusha and you will explore the northern part of Tanzania such as Tarangire national park, Serengeti national park and the Ngorongoro conservation area.
You will enjoy a Maasai experience during your 9 days Tanzania wildlife safari and also enjoy game drives in the morning and afternoon around different destinations such as around Tarangire national park, Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti national park.
After your 9 days Tanzania safari, you will return to Arusha which will bring the safari to an end.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1; Arusha
You will be welcomed by your driver guide at the airport who will also brief you and drive to the hotel to check in. You will spend the rest of the day at your hotel for dinner and overnight at Runako lodge.
Day 2; Maasai experience
You will have breakfast at your hotel in Arusha as you prepare for a cultural experience with the Maasai people. You will interact with the Maasai and get to know more about their way of life and their culture and also enjoy a traditional lunch with the Maasai.
After lunch, you will also enjoy a walking safari around the Maasai village and also learn the hunting technique of the Maasai among other activities. Your guide will drive you back to your hotel in Arusha after your experience for dinner and overnight at Runako lodge.
Day 3; Transfer to Tarangire national park.
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be driven to Tarangire national park which is known for its large herds of elephants. You will also search for a variety of wildlife species such as tree climbing lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, hartebeest, wildebeest, elands, impalas and many bird species.
You will also enjoy beautiful views of the surroundings around Tarangire national park such as baobab and acacia trees. You will proceed to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Roika lodge.
Day 4; Full day in Tarangire national park
After breakfast at your lodge, you will enjoy a full day exploration with in Tarangire National Park. You will go with your packed lunch which you will have while viewing the wildlife with in the wilderness.
You will engage in a morning game drive around Tarangire national park as you search for wildlife species before lunch. After lunch, you will have another game drive around the national park and look out for wildlife animals such as elephants, buffaloes, lions, zebras, waterbucks among others and also see the rare huge Baobab tree which can only be found in this National Park. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Roika lodge.
Day 5; drive to Ngorongoro conservation area
You will have breakfast at your lodge before checking out and continuing your drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area. You will have lunch before descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater for amazing wildlife viewing opportunities and to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
During your game drive, you will look out for a variety of wildlife species which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants as well as predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopard. You will also see Lake Magadi which is a large but shallow alkaline lake in Ngorongoro crater and is among the main features of the crater where you will see a large number of flamingos, hippos as well as other bird species during your safari. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s tree inn.
Day 6; drive to Serengeti National Park
You will have morning breakfast then proceed to Serengeti national park and arrive at your Lodge in Serengeti late in the afternoon. You will have your lunch and in the afternoon set out for the game drive to around the central part of the national park in search of wildlife species like elephants, lions, buffalos, hippos, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras among others.
After your game drive you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 7; morning and afternoon game drive in Serengeti.
After a fully served breakfast you will set out with your packed lunch for a full day Game drive in Serengeti National Park. The Park is very famous for the wildebeest migration and also other wildlife species like lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, impalas, kobs, giraffes among others. You will spend the whole day exploring the park and will have your lunch with in the wilderness. After the morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti national park, you will return to your lodge in the evening to refresh and for dinner and overnight Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 8; Full day Serengeti Safari.
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of the full day wildlife viewing activity as you explore Serengeti national park. You will engage in a morning game drive in the central part of Serengeti national park as you look out for elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, buffalos, leopards, wildebeests, zebras among others.
In the afternoon you will engage in another game drive around Serengeti national park in search of different wildlife species and your guide will drive you back to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 9; Departure
You will have breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park ahead of your transfer back to Arusha town where your guide will drop you off at the airport which will bring your safari to an end.
