7 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari is a wildlife viewing safari around Lake Manyara national park, Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti national park and Tarangire national park which also includes game drives at different times of day and also cultural tours.

During your visit in Serengeti national park, you will also enjoy seeing various wildlife species such as the big five like lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalos as well as different bird species.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park

Your guide will pick you up from Kilimanjaro international airport or your hotel in Arusha on the 1st day of your 7 days Tanzania safari. After you have had a short briefing, you will continue your drive to Lake Manyara national park where you will check in and have your lunch.

After lunch at your lodge, you will also engage in an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara national park and enjoy seeing wildlife species such as tree climbing lions, elephants, hyenas, waterbucks, antelopes, zebras, gazelles and many others. You will have dinner and spend the night at Twiga lodge.

Day 2; Mto wa mbu tour and drive to Ngorongoro conservation area

You will visit Mto wa mbu town on the 2nd day of your 7 days Tanzania safari and have a cultural experience with the Maasai people who you will interact with and get to know more about their ways of life. You will also enjoy watching traditional dance performances, visiting the local market, craft shops and also seeing local art like beaded jewelry.

You will proceed to your lodge in Ngorongoro conservation area where you will check in and have lunch. You will also have an optional walking safari in Karatu and proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.

Day 3; crater tour and drive to Serengeti national park

Your breakfast will be served at your lodge as you prepare for a crater tour experience in the Ngorongoro crater which is the world’s largest inactive caldera and is home to over 300 elephants, 3000 elands, wildebeests, hyenas, zebras, kobs, antelopes, hippos, jackals, rhinos and many others. You will descend 600 meters into the crater where you will engage in a game drive and enjoy the beautiful views around the Ngorongoro crater. During your 7 days Tanzania safari in the Ngorongoro crater, you will also see flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi.

After your game viewing experience in the Ngorongoro crater, you will proceed to Serengeti national park where you will have dinner and spend the night at Osinon camps and lodges.

Day 4; full day in Serengeti national park

After having breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park, you will engage in a morning game drive to look out for the various wildlife species in Serengeti national park such as the big 5 like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos. You will also enjoy driving around the rock outcrops in the national park and see other wildlife species like antelopes, gazelles, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, waterbucks and many others. You will have your lunch after the morning game drive.

In the afternoon, you will engage in another game drive to explore more of the wilderness of Serengeti national park and to search for more wildlife species. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.

Day 5; full day in Serengeti national park

You will spend a full day in Serengeti national park after having breakfast at your lodge. as you drive around the national park with your guide, you will enjoy seeing various wildlife species such as wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, waterbucks, giraffes, gazelles, buffalos, hyenas, hippos, lions, leopards, cheetahs and many others. You will spot very many lions during your drive in the national park which has over 4000 lions.

During your 7 days Tanzania safari, you will also have lunch in the wild during your game drives in Serengeti national park. After having lunch, you will visit the retina hippo pool where you will enjoy seeing many hippos. You will later return to your lodge for dinner and spend the night at Osinon camps and lodges.

Day 6; drive to Tarangire national park

You will have breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park as you prepare to transfer to Tarangire national park. You will have an en route game drive as you continue your drive to Tarangire national park which is famous for its large herds of elephants as well as being home to over 500 bird species.

During your safari around Tarangire national park, you will also enjoy seeing attractions like Tarangire river which crosses in the national park. After checking in and having lunch at your lodge, you will engage in an afternoon game drive and see different wildlife species such as giraffes, hippos, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, gazelles and many others. You will return to your lodge after your game drive for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Roika lodge.

Day 7; transfer to Arusha

You will have breakfast at your lodge in Tarangire national park before checking out on the last day of your 7 days safari as you prepare to drive back to Arusha where your guide will drop you off at Kilimanjaro international airport or at your hotel in Arusha and this will bring your safari to an end.
