7 days Tanzania wildlife and culture tour will start in Arusha and the safari will take place across different national parks in the northern part of Tanzania including Serengeti national park, the Ngorongoro conservation area, Lake Manyara national park, Tarangire national park.
You will engage in game drives during the safari and also take part in a canopy walk and cultural experience.
Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park
Your guide will pick you up from the airport or at your hotel in Arusha and welcome you for your Tanzania safari. You will also have a short briefing about your safari ahead of your drive to Lake Manyara national park.
You will also engage in an afternoon game drive around Lake Manyara national park and search for wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, impalas, zebras, baboons among others. You will return to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight at Twiga lodge.
Day 2; canopy walks and visit Mto wa mbu town
On the 2nd day of your 7 days Tanzania wildlife and culture tour, After breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven to Lake Manyara national park for a canopy walk experience along the treetop walkway. You will enjoy the beautiful views around as you walk along the suspended bridge through the forest in the national park. After the canopy walk, you will have lunch.
You will also visit Mto wa mbu town for a culture experience and interact with the locals as you get to know more about their way of life and culture and you will also enjoy seeing local arts and crafts. After your culture experience, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Twiga lodge.
Day 3; drive to Tarangire national park
You will start your day with breakfast at your lodge and your guide will drive you to Tarangire national park. You will search for various wildlife species during your game drive around the national park such as giraffes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, impalas among others. After your game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Karatu tented lodge.
Day 4; drive from Karatu to Ngorongoro crater
You will have a crater tour experience after breakfast at your lodge. Your guide will drive you to the Ol duvai gorge for an experience of the evolution of mankind. After visiting Ol duvai gorge, you will also descend into the crater for a game drive as you look for the big five and many other wildlife species like zebras, wildebeests, impalas, gazelles, waterbucks, hippos, warthogs, hyenas, hartebeests among others.
You will also have lunch as you explore Ngorongoro in search of various wildlife species and also enjoy seeing birds like flamingos in the crater. After your game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Karatu tented lodge.
Day 5; Ngorongoro to Serengeti national park
ON the 5th day of your 7 days Tanzania wildlife and culture tour, After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Serengeti national park to search for wildlife species like wildebeests, zebras, hippos, impalas, gazelles, giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs among others. You will engage in a game drive and enjoy exploring the vast savannah plains of Serengeti national park in search of the wildlife species and later your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camp.
Day 6; full day in Serengeti national park
You will engage in game drives for a full day as you explore the vast savannah plains of Serengeti national park in search of the different wildlife species like the big five such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos. You will have breakfast at your lodge and take part in a morning game drive in the national park.
After your morning game drive you will have lunch as you prepare for another game drive after lunch in Serengeti national park. You will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camp.
Day 7; drive to Arusha and departure
You will have breakfast and check out of your lodge ahead of your drive from Serengeti national park to Arusha which take about 7 hours and your guide will drive you to the airport or your hotel in Arusha which will bring the safari to an end.
