Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Amboseli national park
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi and welcome you for your safari. You will continue your drive to Amboseli national park where you will check in at your lodge. You will also have your lunch after checking in at your lodge.
After lunch on the 1st day of your safari, you will also engage in an afternoon game drive in Amboseli national park as you explore the savannah plains in search of wildlife species like elephants, lions, buffalos, zebras among others. After your game drive, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at AA Amboseli lodge.
Day 2; full day in Amboseli national park
After an early breakfast at your lodge, your guide will pick you up from your lodge and you will engage in a morning game drive around Amboseli national park. You will also enjoy views of Mount Kilimanjaro as you engage in your game drive in search of different wildlife species. You will also have lunch after your morning game drive.
You will engage in an afternoon game drive in Amboseli national park after lunch and you will look out for different wildlife species like giraffes, elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, elands, zebras among others. After your game drives, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at AA Amboseli lodge.
Day 3; drive to Nairobi
You will have breakfast at your lodge the day before ahead of your drive to Nairobi on the 3rd day of your safari. On arrival in Nairobi, your guide will drive you to your hotel for check in and for lunch.
The rest of the day will be spent at your hotel in Nairobi where you will have dinner and spend the night at Le Maison Royale hotel.
Day 4; transfer to Lake Nakuru national park
After having breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi your guide will drive you to Lake Nakuru national park. You will check in at your lodge before going to the national park where you will enjoy a game drive as you look out for different wildlife species like rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, elands, waterbucks, lions among others.
You will also enjoy seeing flamingos along the shores of Lake Nakuru during your game drive around the national park. Your guide will drive you to your lodge after your game drive for dinner and overnight at Zziwa bush lodge.
Day 5; drive to Masai Mara national reserve
Your guide will pick you up from you lodge after your breakfast and you will be driven to Masai Mara national reserve. You will also be driven to your lodge where you will check in at your lodge. You will have lunch at your lodge as you prepare to engage in an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
During your afternoon game drive in Masai Mara national reserve, you will look out for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos, leopards, zebras, cheetahs, wildebeests, giraffes, cheetahs, elands among others. Your dinner and overnight will be at Sentrim Mara camp.
Day 6; full day in Masai Mara national reserve
After having breakfast at your lodge early in the morning you will engage in a morning game drive around Masai Mara national reserve. During your game drive, you will explore the savannah plains in search of different wildlife species. You will also have lunch after your game drive.
You will also enjoy an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara national reserve after lunch and search for antelopes, lions, leopards, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, elands, giraffes, topi, gazelles among others. After your full day game drives in Masai Mara national reserve, your dinner and overnight will be at Sentrim Mara camp.
Day 7; drive to Nairobi and departure
On the last day of your safari after having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you from Masai Mara national reserve to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport which will bring your safari to an end.
