6 days Tanzania Wildlife Safari is a safari experience to some of the major wildlife viewing destinations in Tanzania with beautiful scenery and also various wildlife species. You will visit Lake Manyara national park, Serengeti national park, Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire national park.
You will begin the 6 days Tanzania safari in Lake Manyara national park where you will see tree climbing lions as well as the shallow alkaline lake in the national park as well as many other wildlife species.
During the 6 days Tanzania safari, you will also explore the famous Serengeti national park and its endless savannah plains where you will see numerous wildlife species such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos and many others during your morning and afternoon game drives in the national park.
The Ngorongoro crater is another wildlife viewing destination with varied wildlife species and breathtaking scenery which you will enjoy seeing during a game drive in the crater area where you will also see flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park
Your guide will pick you up from the airport and you will be briefed shortly about your 6 days Tanzania safari. After you have been briefed about the safari, you will proceed to Lake Manyara national park and you will enjoy views of the rift valley. You will also have a stop in Mto wa mbu town where you will enjoy a cultural experience with the Maasai people and also visit the local market. After this experience, you will proceed to the national park for check in and to have lunch.
You will also engage in an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara national park after lunch and you will see wildlife species such as tree climbing lions, elephants and many others. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Twiga lodge.
Day 2; drive to Serengeti national park
After having breakfast at your lodge in Lake Manyara national park, you will begin your drive to Serengeti national park for more wildlife viewing experiences. During your 6 days Tanzania safari in Serengeti national park, you will see wildlife species as well as attractions like Seronera River and also explore the central part of the national park. You will check in and have you lunch at your lodge as you prepare for an afternoon game drive.
You will see different wildlife species during your afternoon game drive in Serengeti national park such as buffalos, elephants, giraffes, elands, topi, impalas and many others. You will return to your lodge after your game drive for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 3; full day in Serengeti national park
You will have breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park ahead of your full day of game drives in the endless savannah plains of the national park. You will enjoy seeing various wildlife species around the national park such as elephants, buffalos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, waterbucks, kudu, hartebeests and many others during your 6 days Tanzania safari.
After returning to your lodge and having lunch, you will engage in another game drive to see more attractions around Serengeti national park. You will enjoy seeing rock outcrops which standout from the surrounding savannah plains and you will see lions around these kopjes. You will return to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 4; transfer to Ngorongoro crater
You will wake up and have breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park as you prepare for your transfer to Ngorongoro crater where you will descend 600 meters into the world’s largest inactive caldera and enjoy seeing various wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, waterbucks, impalas, gazelles, kudu, dik dik, hyenas, warthogs and many others. You will also see different bird species during your safari in Ngorongoro crater such as flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi. You will be driven to your lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night at Hhando coffee lodge.
Day 5; drive to Tarangire national park
After having breakfast at your lodge, you will continue your drive to Tarangire national park. During your safari in this national park, you will see more wildlife species such as many elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, antelopes, gazelles, lions, kudu and over 500 bird species. You will check in at your lodge upon arrival and also have your lunch at the lodge.
You will engage in an afternoon game drive after lunch. During your afternoon game drive, you will enjoy seeing baobab trees, Tarangire river. You will later return to your lodge to have your dinner and overnight at Tarangire Roika lodge.
Day 6; drive to Arusha
You will have breakfast at your lodge on the last day of your 6 days Tanzania safari as you prepare to be driven back to Arusha where your guide will drop you off at Kilimanjaro international airport or at your hotel in Arusha and this will bring your safari to an end.
