Uganda is home to over 1000 animal species living in the wild in 10 national parks, 2 of which are unesco world heritage sites Bwindi impenetrable forest in Bwindi National Park and mountain rwenzori in mountain rwenzori national park. Of course on your visit to Uganda you may not be able to visit all the parks so your main goal should be to see and experience the wildlife and primates to the fullest.
All the national parks give their visitors unique encounters with the wild, nature and landscape beauty. So no matter the park you choose to visit you will surely have a blast. And if you visit the primate parks you add an A for adventure, you will trek the forests in search of these creatures 50 percent of your time.
Primates in Uganda include mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, monkeys, baboons and others well as savannah wildlife include lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, rhinos, impalas, antelopes, kobs, giraffes and many more.
