Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Pick up will be from hotel in Kampala or Entebbe Airport upon your arrival by your Uganda safari guide. He will welcome you to Uganda the Pearl of Africa, brief you about the safari and thereafter proceed on a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a lunch stop en-route. It is about 8-9 hours of road drive.

Proceed to your lodge of stay for check in, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Mahogany Springs Lodge for Luxury, Buhoma Haven Lodge for Mid-range, and Buhoma Community Rest Camp for Budget.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Experience

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and proceed to the park headquarters for briefing about the gorilla trekking experience. With your ranger guides you shall file into the impenetrable forest in search of your allocated gorilla family. Enjoy talks about Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the inhabitants therein, whilst looking out for other animals in the park.

Once you meet the gorillas, you shall have 1 hour with the gorillas as you watch them go about their way of life. Return to the lodge relax for the rest of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha Sector Game Drive

After your breakfast on this 3rd day of your 5 Days Uganda Safari, check out and proceed on a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with lunch en-route, passing through the Ishasha Sector which is famous for the tree climbing lions. Look out for different animals including tree climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes, among so many others. Proceed to the lodge for check in, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Elephant Plains Safari Lodge for Luxury, Elephant Hab Lodge for Mid-range, Pumba Cottages for Budget.

Day 4: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Wake up to an early cup tea or coffee at the lodge and thereafter head out for an early morning game drive in Kasenyi trail among others, for a chance to spot out the early risers of the park. Look out for different animals in Queen Elizabeth National Park while on your game drive in the park.

Later return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the rest of the morning lounging at the lodge. Later after lunch, you shall head out for an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel which joins Lake Edward and Lake George. Look out for water animals like crocodiles, hippos, birds, among others at the shore having a drink or dip, say elephants and buffaloes.

Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 5: Departure

Wake up to a leisurely breakfast at the lodge and thereafter check out and proceed on a transfer to Kampala making a stopover at Kayabwe for the Equator water experiment and lunch. You shall be dropped off at the airport for your outbound flight, or hotel of stay in Entebbe/Kampala. This brings your 5 Days Uganda Safari to an end.
