During the safari, you will visit Tarangire national park where you have great views of large herds of elephants, visit Serengeti national park where you will be able to witness the great wildebeest migration and spot different animals grazing in the endless savannah plains. You will also visit the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will descend down the Ngorongoro crater which is most popular attraction in the park that harbors wildlife species including the big five mammals, colorful bird species among others.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1 of the 4 days safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater
Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Tarangire national park, depending on where you are located on the first day of the 4 days safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, your driver guide will pick you up, brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Tarangire national park in northern Tanzania. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours drive and on the way you will have fascinating views of the Maasai villages, local people, traditional homesteads, beautiful landscapes, views of Mount Meru among others. Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge, relax and have early lunch. After lunch you an afternoon game drive in a 4WD pop up safari vehicle with a professional driver guide who is well conversant with game tracks in the park. During the game drive you will have spectacular views of the baobab and acacia trees, large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, view colorful bird species like white faced whistling duck, pygmy falcon, yellow necked spurfowl, red billed parrot among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Transfer from Tarangire national park to Serengeti national park, after an early breakfast on the second day of the 4 days safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, you will carry your lunch box, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Serengeti national park. On the way you will pass through the rift valley escarpments, visit the Masai villages if you are interested and then proceed to the park. Upon arrival you will go for an evening game drive where you will be able to see animals like buffaloes, elephants, wildebeests, hartebeest, giraffes, waterbucks, gazelle, elands, impala, zebras, warthogs, predators like leopards, lions, hyenas among other grazing in the open savannah and grassland plains, views of different bird species, views of the beautiful sundowner among others. After the evening game drive you will drive to the lodge, check in for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: morning game drive in Serengeti national park and transfer to Ngorongoro crater
Morning game drive, after an early breakfast on the third day of the 4 days safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive in the park which starts at around 6:00 am. During the morning game drive you will be able to view animals when they are most active grazing in the open savannah and grassland plains with due such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeest, gazelle, waterbucks, zebras, elands, view predators like lions, leopards, spotted hyenas hunting if you are lucky, view some primates like baboons, vervet monkeys, have beautiful views of the sunrise, different plant and tree species, bird species like silver birds, flamingos among others, witness the great wildebeest migration as the animals cross the Grumeti river with infested crocodiles to Masai Mara in Kenya. After the morning game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Transfer to Ngorongoro crater, after lunch you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area. On the way you will have incredible views of animals in Serengeti national park and have a stopover at Olduvai Gorge museum where you will be able to learn about the early Hominin fossils of plants and mammals that lived in the area and were discovered by the Leakeys, know about the history of Olduvai Gorge site, interact with some residents to know more about the significance of the area among others. After the Olduvai Gorge museum tour, you will proceed to Ngorongoro conservation area where you will check into the lodge, have dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Morning game drive and departure to Arusha
Morning game drive, on the last day of the 4 days safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngrorongoro crater you will have an early breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive in the Ngorongoro crater which is the world’s largest inactive, unbroken and unfilled volcanic caldera that is 610 meters deep, 19km wide and 264 square kilometers total surface. During the game drive you will descend down into the crater through the lush highland forests with different bird species and once you reach the grassy crater floor you will have spectacular views of animals grazing such as buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, elands, hartebeest, elephants black rhinos, predators such as lions, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs which are attracted by large numbers of prey, different bird species such as flamingos among others. After the amazing game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Departure to Arusha, after lunch you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Arusha town where you will be dropped at the airport for your international departure flight or dropped at any place of convenience.
