Detailed Itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park
Your guide will pick you up from the airport and welcome you for your 3 days Tanzania safari. You will also have a short briefing about your safari before beginning your journey to the national park. As you drive to Lake Manyara national park, you will enjoy seeing the Great Rift Valley escarpment. On arrival in the national park, you will be driven to your lodge where you will check in and have your lunch.
After lunch at your lodge, you will have an afternoon game drive to see the different wildlife species around Lake Manyara national park such as tree climbing lions, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras and many others among the grassy plains of the national park. Your guide will drive you back to your lodge after your game drive for dinner and overnight at Twiga lodge.
Day 2; transfer to Ngorongoro crater
After having breakfast at your lodge on the 2nd day of your 3 days Tanzania safari, you will be driven to the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will have another wildlife viewing experience at the world’s largest inactive caldera. The Ngorongoro crater is home to numerous wildlife species such as the big 5 which includes elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos and rhinos. Other wildlife species which can be seen in the Ngorongoro conservation area include wildebeests, zebras, warthogs, hyenas, gazelles, hartebeests, waterbucks, giraffes, hippos, cheetahs and many others. You will have your lunch before descending into the Ngorongoro crater.
During your 3 days Tanzania safari, you will also see attractions like Lake Magadi where flamingos can be spotted in big numbers along its shores. After your game drive in the Ngorongoro crater, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.
Day 3; drive to Arusha
Breakfast will be served at your lodge as you prepare to transfer to Arusha after your 3 days Tanzania safari. Your guide will drive you back to Arusha and drop you off at the airport or at your hotel and this will bring your 3 days Tanzania safari to an end.
