3 Days Serengeti National Park Safari is a short wildlife adventure that will start and end in Arusha. The safari will give you an opportunity to explore Serengeti national park which is the oldest and most visited national park in Tanzania. During the safari you will engage in game drives around the open savannah and grassland plains where you will be able to have spectacular views of wildlife species including animals such as the big five mammals which include elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards and black rhinos, other animals like zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, different plant and tree species, bird species among others. You will also be able to witness the wildebeest migration where wildebeest, gazelle, zebras and other antelopes migrate from Serengeti plains to the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of fresh pasture during the safari.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1 of the 3 days Serengeti national park safari
Pick up and transfer to Serengeti national park, after an early breakfast on the first day of the 3 days Serengeti national park safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel in Arusha, give you a short briefing about the safari and then transfer to Serengeti national park in the northern part of Tanzania. The journey takes about 6 to 7 hours drive and on the way you will have en-route lunch and pass via Ngorongoro conservation area where you will have views of the stunning landscape, animals, pass via the Olduvai gorge site where the early man fossils were discovered and then proceed to the park.
Evening game drive, Upon arrival you will go for an evening game drive in the endless plains where you will have views of animals like elephants, buffaloes, wildebeest, hartebeests, giraffes, elands, topi, impala, zebras, gazelle, lions, leopards among others. After the evening game drive you will drive to the lodge have dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full day game drive in Serengeti national park
Morning game drive, on the second day of the 3 days Serengeti national park safari you will have an early breakfast and meet up with your driver-guide to go for a morning game drive in the endless savannah plains of Serengeti national park in a 4WD safari vehicle with a professional driver guide. During the morning game drive, you will be able to view animals when they are most active such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, gazelle, warthogs, lesser kudu, wildebeest, hartebeest, elands, impalas among others grazing in the open savannah plains, primates like monkeys, baboons, predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, spotted hyenas, wild dogs hunting if you are lucky, views of the beautiful sunrise, different bird species such as grey breasted spurfowl, kori bustard, ashy starling secretary birds, yellow-necked francolin, rufous tailed weaver, Fischer’s lovebird, grey crested helmet shrike among others.
After the morning game drive you will have your packed lunch or drive back to the lodge for lunch and return back for an afternoon game drive where you will have views of animals that you might have missed in the morning, drive to the water bodies where you will view large concentrations of animals drinking water, witness the great wildebeest migration where about one million wildebeest, thousands of gazelle, zebras and other antelopes cross the Grumeti river with infested crocodiles which feast on them to the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of fresh grass. During the game drive you can also experience wildebeest calving where over 8000 young wildebeests are born daily, the wildebeest migration experience can be witnesses depending on the time of your safari. After the full day game drive in the endless plains of Serengeti national park you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Arusha
Morning game drive, on the last day of the 3 days Serengeti national park safari you will have a relaxed breakfast and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a short morning game drive in the park where you will be able to look out for animals that you might have missed during the previous game drives. You will also view the common animals grazing in the open grassland plains with due, view predators before going back to their hiding areas, colorful bird species, different tree and plant species among others. After the game drive, you will drive to the lodge for lunch.
Departure to Arusha, after lunch you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Arusha town with stunning views on the way and upon arrival your guide will either drop you off at the airport for your international flight or drop off at any place of convenience.
