Conservation fee; This fee is paid to the TANAPA officials at the gate entrance. The fee is payable per head per day. The amount of fee varies from one visitor to another and depends on the age of a visitor. Children below 5 years from all nationalities are not charged. The fee varies from season to season; The peak season is commencing on 16 May to 14 March while low season commences on 15 March to 15 May.

During peak season; EA citizens of 16 years and above are charged TSHS 10,000 while EA children between 5-15 years are charged TSHS 2,000 per head. Non-EA citizens of or above the age 16 years will be charged $50 and non-EA citizens between 5 and 15 years will be charged $15 per head. Expatriates of or above the age of 16 years will be charged $25 while expatriates between 5 and 15 years will be charged $7.5 per head.

Low Season. EA citizens of 16 years and above will be charged TSHS 10,000 while EA children between 5-15 years are charged TSHS 2,000 per head. Non-EA citizens of or above the age 16 years will be charged $45 and non-EA citizens between 5 and 15 years will be charged $15 per head. Expatriates of or above the age of 16 years will be charged $22.5 while expatriates between 5 and 15 years will be charged $7.5 per head.

Camping fee; During your stay at Tarangire National Park, you may need a public or private campsite where you will spend your whole night. You will be charged a camping fee for using this service. The fee is payable per head per night and differs between public and private campsites.

Public campsite; Camping fee for EA citizen of or above 16 years is TSHS 5000 and TSHS 2500 for EA citizen between 5 and 15 years. The camping fee for both non-EA and expatriate of or above 16 years is $30 and the fee for both non-EA citizen and expatriate between 5 and 15 years is $5.

Private campsite; Two types of private campsite are available in Tarangire National Park; special campsite and seasonal campsite.

Special campsite; The fee for a special campsite varies depending on the season of your visit. Seasonal campsite; The camping fee for a seasonal campsite varies depending on the season of your visit. During peak season (July-September), an EA citizen of or above the age of 16 years will be charged TSHS 15,000 while EA citizen between 5 and 15 years, will be charged TSHS 7500. The fees for both non-EA citizen and expatriate of or above 16 years is $60 and $10 for respective between 5 and 15 years. Night game drive; Tarangire is one of the parks where night game drives are officially permitted. You will enjoy viewing the nocturnal species like night jars. Park accommodation fees; These fees are payable per head per night and prior booking is required. Tarangire National Park has hostels and rest houses.

Hostels; If you want to use hostels, you will have to pay $10 per night if you are a non-EA citizen or expatriate. EA citizen will be charged TSHS 5000 per night for using hostels at Tarangire National Park.

Rest house; The fee for using rest house is $30 for both non-EA citizen and expatriate and TSHS 20,000 for EA citizen.

Walking safaris; Two walks, short walk and long walk are offered in Tarangire National Park. Short walks take 1 to 4 hours while long walks take more than 4 hours.
