Day 1: Arrival
On arrival in at Kigali International Airport, you will be picked up by the hotel and transferred to your hotel of stay. Check in, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe and Canopy Walk
Breakfast will be served early and embark on the drive to Nyungwe forest national park with lunch en-route. You will also engage in a canopy walk and enjoy views of the rainforest from a swing bridge. After the canopy walk, you will return to your lodge.
Dinner and overnight stay at Nyungwe TopHill View Lodge.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking, Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Enjoy breakfast and go for briefing before entering the forest, searching for the active and playful fellows in Nyungwe forest very early in the morning. The Chimpanzees are not easy to spot, as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing. Chimp tracking usually takes about 3 hours.
Thereafter, proceed to transfer to Volcanoes National Park with a lunch stop en-route. Once at the lodge, check in, relax as you look forward to your golden monkey trek the next day. Dinner and overnight at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge
Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking
After an early breakfast at the lodge, head out for a golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes National Park experience. The golden monkey tracking activity is done just like the gorilla trek. Return to the lodge thereafter, and relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
You will enjoy early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch and bottled drinking water for briefing by the park ranger guides at 7:00am. After briefing, you will start your gorilla trekking journey accompanied by the ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas; this takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
However, the guides will try to find them from where they were last seen the previous day! You will spend 1 hour with these gentle giants and later return to your lodge to refresh and relax. In the evening, you can do an Optional community tour around Ruhengeri for a Rwanda cultural experience. Dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 6: Transfer to Kigali, Flight to Tanzania (Own Booking) – Kenya Airways is recommended
After breakfast at the lodge, check out and transfer to Kigali International Airport which is about 4 hours away, for your flight to JRO.
Upon your arrival in Tanzania, you shall be picked up and transferred to your hotel of stay. Check in, and enjoy a late dinner and overnight stay at Burka Coffee Lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Tarangire National Park, Game Drive
After your breakfast, you will continue your drive to Tarangire national park which begins your wildlife viewing experiences in Tanzania. After checking in at your lodge in the national park, you will prepare to have your lunch before heading out into the wilderness of the national park.
During your game drive, you will see different wildlife species grazing and roaming in the national park such as lions, giraffes, antelopes, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalos, wildebeests, elands, elephants, cheetahs, impalas and a variety of bird species can also be seen especially around the Tarangire national park. As you enjoy the sunset and scenery around you, your guide will dive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Manyara Safari Lodge.
Day 8: Drive to Serengeti national park (Northern Serengeti)
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your transfer to Serengeti national park. You will see different wildlife species during your en route game drive in the open savannah plains on the way to the northern part of the Serengeti with lunch enjoyed en-route.
During your game drive in the national park, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery such as the kopjes where lions can be seen as they watch their prey. You will also see various wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, impalas among others during your game drive. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Mara River Camp by Tanzania Bush Camp.
Day 9&10: Full day Serengeti national park
Spend these 2 days chasing after the wildebeest migrating herds and chance to see the iconic and much sought after Mara River crossing. Also look out for other wildlife in the park including prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and so much more. You shall have picnic lunches in the wilderness, with an option of having a hot lunch available. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 11: Central Serengeti Game Drive
Today, you shall enjoy a game drive in the northern Serengeti for yet another chance to spot the migrating herds, as you proceed to the central. You shall have lunch in the park, and mazing game drive in the central Serengeti for a chance to see more of the wild game, around the Seronera River. Check in at the camp, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Central Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp.
Day 12: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge Visit
After breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park, you will check out of your lodge and proceed for an en route game drive on your way to Ngorongoro conservation area. You will have a stop at the Olduvai Gorge which is an archaeological site where evidence of early man relating to human evolution was discovered by Dr Mary and Louis Leakey. Lunch will be enjoyed en-route.
Proceed to your lodge, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge.
Day 13: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Ngorongoro Crater Rim Walk
After an early breakfast, with your packed lunch descend the Ngorongoro Crater to see different attractions such as Lake Magadi which is found at the center of the crater. As you explore the Ngorongoro crater, you will also see flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi in big numbers as well as other bird species. You will also see wildlife species in the crater area such as elephants, buffalos, rhinos, zebras, waterbucks, antelopes, hyenas, gazelles, kudus, predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs. You will also enjoy beautiful views of the scenery around you as you explore the Ngorongoro conservation area.
Get to enjoy a crater rim walk to introduce you to the beautiful scenery of the Ngorongoro Highlands! Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as above.
Day 14: Drive to Arusha, Flight to Zanzibar (Own Booking) Air Tanzania, FlightLink are recommended
You will have a leisurely breakfast at your lodge, and then transfer to Arusha town from where you shall proceed to catch a flight to Zanzibar from JRO or ARK. You will be picked up from the airport and driven to your hotel for check in. Relax at the hotel as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Nungwi Dreams by Mantis- Ocean Front Room strictly.
Day 15: Historical Stone Town Tour
You will have breakfast at your hotel and after this you will embark on a Stone Town tour for a chance to learn about the rich history of Zanzibar. Return to the resort for lunch and get to relax as per will. Dinner and an overnight stay at the resort as above.
Day 16,17, 18&19: Days at Leisure
You will have these days at leisure with a couple of optional activities available at your disposal and can be booked at the resort. Meals and an overnight stay as above.
Day 20: Departure (Own Booking)
You will have breakfast and lunch at the resort and spend the day relaxing. Check out and proceed for your drive to the airport (ZNZ) where your guide will drop you off in time for your outbound flight, which will bring the safari to an end.
