Day 1 of the 2 days Tarangire safari
Pick up and transfer to Tarangie national park, on the first day of the 2 days Tarangire national park safari you will have breakfast in Arusha and your driver-guide will pick you up to start the journey to Tarangire national park in northern Tanzania. The journey takes about 3 to 4 hours drive and on the way you will have spectacular views of the beautiful landscapes, local farms, traditional homesteads, local people among others. Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge and have an early lunch where after you will go for an afternoon game drive. during the game drive you will be able to view large herds of elephants and other animals like zebras, waterbucks, wildebeest, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, bushbucks, gazelle, giraffes among others grazing in the open plains, view baobab trees, colorful bird species and many others.
Evening nature walk, after the game drive you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules, safety precautions and expectations of the guided nature walk which takes about one to three hours with the company of an experienced park guide and an armed park ranger. During the guided nature walk you will get up-close and personal with different animals in their natural habitats, have beautiful views of the colorful butterflies, listen to birds singing, relax you mind and enjoy the quiet environment among others. After the nature walk you will return to the park headquarters and then transfer back to the lodge for dinner and over night.
Day 2: Morning game drive and departure to Arusha
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 2 days Tarangire national park safari, your driver guide will pick you up to go for a morning game drive where you will have an opportunity to view predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs hunting and other animals grazing on grass with due. You will also have views of the beautiful sunrise, baobab trees, birds among others and after drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Departure to Arusha, after lunch you will check out of the lodge, meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Arusha town where you will either be dropped at the hotel or at the airport for your departure flight.
