Day 1 of the 2 days Ngorongoro crater safari
Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area, on the first day of the 2 days Ngorongoro crater safari you will have breakfast in your hotel in Arusha and your driver guide will pick you to start the journey to Ngorongoro conservation area. The journey takes about 4 hours drive and on the way you will great views of the incredible landscapes, farmlands, hospitable people, traditional homesteads among others. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge and have lunch, after lunch, you will go for an afternoon game drive in the conservation area where you will be able to spot different animals such as giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, zebras, gazelle, waterbucks, elands, have views of some birds among others. After the game drive, you will return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, have dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and departure to Arusha
Morning game drive, after an early breakfast at the lodge on the second day of the 2 days Ngorongoro crater safari your driver guide will pick you to go for a morning game drive where you have spectacular views of the Ngorongoro crater, descend down the crater through the highland forest with great views of birds to the grassy crater floor where you will view predators before going back to their hiding areas and other animals grazing in the acacia woodland and grassland plains. Animals that will be spotted during the morning game drive include the big five mammals (elephants, lions, buffaloes, black rhinos and leopards), giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelle, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, different birds, views of the beautiful landscapes, sunrise among others which give you unforgettable experiences.
After the morning game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and after lunch you will check out of the lodge, meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Arusha town. Upon arrival you will be dropped at an airport for your departure flight or dropped at any place of convenience.
