14 days Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda safari tour is a trip which will take place across different destinations in east Africa. During the safari, you will engage in safari activities like game drives in Lake Manyara national park, Serengeti national park, and also the Ngorongoro crater in the northern part of Tanzania as you look out for wildlife species such as the big 5 like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos and other wildlife species like cheetahs, giraffes, hyenas, elands, waterbucks, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, impalas among others.
You will also visit Rwanda and you will enjoy a city tour in Kigali, visit the genocide memorial site, Nyungwe national park for a canopy walk and chimpanzee tracking and also a visit to the Gisakura tea estate.
Your safari will also take place in Uganda where you will visit Lake Bunyonyi and also queen Elizabeth national park for a lion tracking experience, game drive and boat cruise and also visiting the equator.
The 14 days Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda safari tour will start in Arusha, Tanzania and end in Entebbe, Uganda.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up in Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara national park
On the 1st day of your 14 Days Tanzania Uganda & Rwanda Safari Tour, you will be met by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about the details of your safari in Tanzania. After a short briefing, you will be driven to Lake Manyara national park where you will check in at your lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you will engage in a game drive around Lake Manyara national park as you look out for various wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, waterbucks, impalas, gazelles, hippos and many others. You will also enjoy the scenery and your surroundings in the national park and proceed to your lodge after your game drive for dinner and overnight stay at Twiga lodge.
Day 2; drive to Serengeti national park
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your transfer to Serengeti national park. Your guide will drive you to your lodge in Serengeti national park and after checking in you will prepare for your lunch.
You will engage in an afternoon game drive around Serengeti national park as you search for wildlife species in the savannah plains such as the big five like elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and also enjoy the beautiful scenery such as the kopjes where lions can be seen as they watch their prey. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 3; Full day Serengeti national park
After an early breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park during your Tanzania safari, you will engage in a morning game viewing experience as you explore the vast savannah plains of the national park.
You will have a break for lunch after your morning game drive and later engage in another game drive to see wildlife species such as lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, and elephants, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes, zebras, kudus, hippos, buffalos among others. You will return to your lodge after your evening game drive for dinner and overnight stay at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 4; drive to Ngorongoro crater
On the 4th day of your 14 Days Tanzania Uganda & Rwanda Safari Tour, after breakfast at the lodge in Serengeti national park, you will be driven by your guide to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. You will have an OPTIONAL stopover at Olduvai Gorge (cradle of mankind), boasting with a history and it is the place where anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the evidence of evolution of mankind.
You will have lunch before descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater to enjoy the beautiful scenery and to also look out for a variety of wildlife species which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants as well as predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopard.
You will also visit Lake Magadi which is a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner and is among the main features of the crater. You will see a large number of flamingos, hippos as well as other bird species during your visit to the lake. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s tree inn.
Day 5; drive to Arusha
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge. You will proceed to Arusha where your guide will drop you off in Arusha at your hotel where you will spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Runako lodge.
Day 6: flight to Rwanda and city tour
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Rwanda. On arrival at the airport in Kigali, you will be welcomed by our guide transfer to your hotel in Kigali. You will also have a short city tour where you will visit the genocide memorial site. Your dinner and overnight will be at Des Milles collines hotel.
Day 7: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
On the 7th day of your 14 Days Tanzania Uganda & Rwanda Safari Tour, wake up to an early breakfast and connect with your driver guide to Nyungwe forest park with lunch en-route and arriving in the evening. You will have dinner and overnight stay at Gisakura Visitor Centre.
Day 8: Chimpanzee tracking & Canopy Walk.
You will have breakfast early at your lodge ahead of a briefing before entering the Nyungwe forest, searching for the active and playful chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest. The Chimpanzees are the easy to spot, as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing. Chimp tracking usually takes about 3 hours. You will then return to your accommodation for lunch.
After lunch, you will also engage in a canopy walk at Uwinka; a swing bridge 50 meters in length that is suspended from large trees. You will be able to see the amazing rainforest with a bird’s eye view, spotting wildlife moving about below you. Before night fall, you will return back to your hotel as the night before.
Day 9: Transfer back to Kigali.
You will also enjoy visiting the Gisakura tea estate later in the day and get to learn about tea growing, harvesting, processing and packaging of the tea. You will also get a taste of the delicious tea and after the visit. After this experience, you will be driven to your hotel in Kigali where you will have dinner and spend the night at Des Milles collines hotel.
Day 10; flight to Uganda
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to the airport in Kigali for your flight to Uganda. On arrival in Uganda, your Uganda guide will welcome you for the safari and drive you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Best western hotel.
Day 11; drive to Bunyonyi
You will have an early morning breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your morning boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery such as beautiful terraces, islands like the punishment island. You will also enjoy relaxing along the shores
You will have lunch and then proceed for a community tour later on in the day. During the community walk, you will interact with the Batwa people who are known for being forest dwellers in the Bwindi forest and you will learn about their culture, watch traditional dance performances, see local arts and crafts and listen to traditional melodies and more cultural aspects. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi eco lodge.
Day 12; transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast at your lodge, you will start your drive to Queen Elizabeth national park and on the way to the park you will enjoy great views of the landscape. After lunch you will continue the journey to the park and upon arrival you will go for an evening game drive where you will be able to view animals like buffaloes, kobs, waterbucks, elephants, warthogs and then drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Pumba safari lodge.
Day 13; game drive and boat cruise
Morning game drive/ lion tracking experience
After an early breakfast you will engage in a morning game drive/ lion tracking experience in Queen Elizabeth national park where you will search for various wildlife species such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda kobs and also enjoy seeing a variety of bird species. You will also enjoy the beautiful landscapes as you drive around the park. You will have lunch after your morning game viewing experience.
Afternoon boat cruise,
After lunch you will engage in a boat cruise on Kazinga channel, where Lake Edward and Lake George meet. The Kazinga boat cruise takes about 2 to 3 hours ride and during the boat ride, you will get closer to the hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, other animals like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes among others. You will also see fisher men on the lake shores preparing their fishing gears for night fishing among others. After the interesting boat ride you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight at Pumba safari lodge.
Day 14; departure
You will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Entebbe with en-route lunch in Mbarara town. After lunch you will continue the journey to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at the airport or your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala which will bring your safari to an end.
