10 Days Best of Uganda safari is a trip in Uganda starting from the airport and then proceeding to different destinations around Uganda such as Murchison falls national park, Kibale national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Bwindi national park, and Lake Mburo national park with various activities such as game drives, chimpanzee tracking, launch cruise, gorilla trekking, Batwa community tour, walking safari and then back to Entebbe as seen in the itinerary below;

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Murchison falls national park
Your guide will pick you up from the airport and welcome you for your safari. After the briefing, you will continue your drive to Kampala city and then drive to Zziwa rhino sanctuary where you will enjoy seeing the rhinos. You will be briefed by the rangers before proceeding to engage in the activity on foot.
You will also have lunch before continuing your journey to Murchison falls national park where you will have an en route game drive on the way to your lodge where you will check in and prepare to have your dinner and overnight at Pakuba safari lodge.
Day 2; game drive and boat cruise
After having breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed for a morning game viewing experience in Murchison falls national park where you will enjoy seeing different wildlife species such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalos, lions, Uganda kobs, oribi, Jackson’s hartebeests, waterbucks, duikers, bushbucks among others. You will be driven back to your lodge for lunch after your morning game drive.
You will also engage in a boat cruise to the bottom of the thunderous Murchison falls. You will see hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water during your boat cruise as well as different bird species. You will proceed for the top of the falls hike which will give you a view of the rest of the national park. You will return to your lodge after the day’s activities and have your dinner and overnight at Pakuba safari lodge.
Day 3; transfer to Kibale national park
After having breakfast at your lodge in Murchison falls national park, you will proceed to Kibale national park where you will have more adventures during your trip. You will have lunch en route to the national park.
On arrival in Kibale national park, you will check in at your lodge as you prepare to have dinner and overnight at Isunga lodge.
Day 4; chimpanzee tracking and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park
You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast before your chimpanzee trekking activity which will begin with briefing at the park headquarters. After briefing, you will proceed into Kibale forest where you will enjoy searching for chimpanzees. You will also see other primate species in the forest such as black and white monkeys as well as forest elephants, bush pigs, duikers among others.
After lunch at your lodge, you will have a nature walk in Bigodi swamp where you will see various bird species. You will continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will have dinner and overnight at Parkview safari lodge.
Day 5; morning game drive and launch cruise
You will have breakfast at your lodge and after breakfast, your guide will take you around the national park on a morning game viewing experience during which you will search for various wildlife species such as lions, antelopes, buffalos, elephants, waterbucks, Uganda kobs among others as you enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Your guide will drive you to your lodge after your morning game drive for lunch. You will engage in a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel where Lake George meets Lake Albert. You will enjoy seeing hippos in the water as well as different bird species along the shores where wildlife species can also be seen. You will enjoy photograph as you watch the sunset and head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Parkview safari lodge.
Day 6; drive to Bwindi national park
You will have breakfast at your lodge and then check out of your lodge in Queen Elizabeth national park. You will continue your journey to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park after this experience via the ishasha sector which is known for having tree climbing lions and you will also have your lunch in the ishasha sector.
You will proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight at Ichumbi gorilla lodge.
Day 7; gorilla trekking
After having breakfast early at your lodge, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for your briefing for a gorilla trekking activity. You will proceed into the forest after briefing in your groups in the company of your ranger guide as you search for the gorillas in their natural habitat. You will move around the rugged terrain for about 2 to 7 hours in search of the gorillas and spend about 1 hour with the gorillas.
Your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Ichumbi gorilla lodge after your gorilla trekking activity.
Day 8; Batwa community tour
You will have a community tour with the Batwa after having breakfast and checking out of your lodge in Bwindi national park. During your interaction with the Batwa, you will get to know more about their way of life and their culture and traditions and also watch traditional dance performances.
You will spend the rest of the day at leisure and dinner and overnight will be at Ichumbi gorilla lodge.
Day 9; drive to Lake Mburo national park
After breakfast at your lodge, you will check out ahead of your drive to Lake Mburo national park. You will have your lunch in the national park after checking in as you prepare for your evening game drive.
During your game drive, you will see different wildlife species such as hippos, buffalos, zebras, elands among others as you enjoy the sunset while exploring the wilderness of Lake Mburo national park. Dinner and overnight will be at Mpogo lodge.
Day 10; walking safari and drive to Entebbe
You will have breakfast at your lodge and then check out of the lodge as you prepare to engage in a walking safari to get a close encounter with the natural surroundings of Lake Mburo national park. You will enjoy seeing wildlife species while on foot and after this experience, you will have your lunch on your way back to Entebbe where your guide will drop you off at a location of your preference which will mark the end of your safari.
